The United Nations General Assembly has adopted a resolution demanding that Israel ends what the assembly calls, “it's unlawful presence in the occupied Palestinian territory” within 12 months.
Israel has denounced the UN resolution as “cynical”.
The resolution, which was spearheaded by Palestine, was adopted by overwhelming consensus with 124 member states voting in favour, 14 against and 43 abstentions.
