A big HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the amazing women out there who brought life into this world.
One of my favorite memories of my mom: when I was eight years old, ma took me and my little brother to see The Ramones play - while they were absolutely in their prime. She had to call the club they were playing at ahead of time to get special permission to let two little boys into a 21-and-over venue. I remember her on the phone witht the nightclub manager promising him she wouldn't let us drink anything from the bar. 😅
That night may have permanently damaged my hearing, but it changed my life forever. I'd never seen anything so raw and powerful in my life. I will be forever grateful for that.
