#WordWeavers 11 — Did you realise what writing was going to be like when you started?
No. Before writing my first book, I only wrote short stories when inspiration struck. That often meant going months without writing and then sitting all night long to finish a random story no one would ever read. That’s not sustainable for writing novels, where you have to show up & work consistently. Plus, I had to learn the whole „logistics” of writing a novel & keeping track of characters, details, etc.
