I still use these books today, plus a couple more I've acquired over the years.
No way would I go back to buying paper patterns. So expensive! And no guarantee they'll fit you. I just look at the styles and I can usually figure out how to draft it.
Clothing in most stores is made so it looks good on the hanger, when what you really want is for it to look good on you!
