This has been a weird year for wildlife.
A warm spell very early early in the year meant spring peepers were out in the first part of February, followed by the next three months being relatively cold. (Still no gray treefrogs)
I captured two snakes within a week, and BOTH of them were eastern milk snakes. Today was the first time I've even seen a rat snake this year.
Weird shit, I wonder if it will culminate in a horde of timber rattlesnakes everywhere in June.
