Cat poni, Whorseman of Apocalypse (npub1vse…v7q2) more capacity for container lorries and other vehicles (hopefully removing them from other smaller roads) and a better transport link to the ports. In my town (40+ years ago) the Orwell Bridge was built for a similar reason (and every time it is closed due to traffic incidents, whole town is gridlocked)
