Good beans are key of course, and only brewing enough for one thermos flask fill rather than leaving it to stew on the hotplate! Great little machine - served us well for many years of frequent use by warehouse chaps.
I'd love a decent little espresso machine but also couldn't trust myself with one. I'd be perma-wired.
(* Most mornings Kat does a Chemex pourover brew to summon me from the dead, I'm lucky!)
