How does the hypothetical hardware I've been describing compare to typical computers?
Typical: Focuses on processing numbers & pointers, other types abstract upon these.
Mine: Focuses on strings & parsers/regexps, followed (partially aided by firmware) by tries, graph analysis, & task switching. Minimal need for abstractions!
Typical: Requires complex "kernel" to configure "privileges" of running code.
Mine: OCaps
