i think prusa’s last acceptable product was the i3 mk2s. for its time, that seemed to be a decent entry-level printer
but they haven’t kept up with the times, and now they’re just releasing vendor-locked garbage with design flaws that can’t be anything but intentional. every “improvement” they make is only meant to look good in the marketing; it never really adds any value or fixes even the lowest-hanging fruits of all the problems their printers have
the mini in particular is just insulting and i feel sorry for everyone who got fooled into buying one. if you’ve ever assembled and used one of the more advanced DIY printers out there (especially coreXY or similar), all you need to see is the product picture and you’ll instantly know how much time and filament you’re gonna waste on failed and poor-quality prints. and it only gets worse the closer you look at the thing.
