Friend has now told Mr. X that he knows someone (me) who was in his class at school. Friend also said to me that perhaps Mr. X is a nice guy now. I, however, have no interest in finding out. In fact, I wish Friend hadn't mentioned me at all.
I don't suppose Mr. X has thought about me in 40 years or more. I wish I had the same luxury. Mr. X was a cruel and unprincipled teenager, and I have no interest in renewing contact with him.
