Two years ago I listened to saifedean (npub1gdu…6nak) talk about Taleb being the perfect example of NO skin in the game. His words were completely spot on.
A big ego costed Taleb more money than you can imagine. He wrote the foreword for the Bitcoin standard in 2017, when the price was under $10k, then did a 180 and started shitting on Bitcoin. His stance flip seems to have come after arguing with toxic Bitcoiners on Twitter. It seems that most people can understand bitcoin but their egos get in the way. Watching Taleb embarrass himself on public television is truly sad and pathetic. Simply saying “I was wrong,” is all it takes. Don’t tell us what you think about Bitcoin, show us. Short it!
