I do a lot of troubleshooting in my day to day responsibilities requiring searching through large sets of log files. Grep/egrep are staples but they are slow for large files. I discovered a new tool named "ripgrep". (
https://github.com/BurntSushi/ripgrep/releases) This thing is 8 - 10 times faster that your typical grep search.
