Oh for sure. Greeks had been there at least a thousand years. Alexandria was founded by Greeks. And the Greek cults were really just hellenized Egyptian cults to begin with. For example, Asclepius was the Greek name for Imhotep, and following that line further, there's the Asclepieia temples that were in Palestine, which was arguably an Egyptian protectorate.
IMO the Jewish Exodus from Egypt is another allegory, meaning they discarded polytheistic beliefs and the process took about 40 years. The more literal interpretation is just too retarded for belief - literally wandering in the desert for 40 years when they could've just used the road that already existed and its at most a few weeks of walking... That's dumb. People are dumb if they believe that. It's allegory. Why am I ranting about this Jewish shit... I guess its kinda related.
