I finally found the energy to look into why I can't send SMTP from my personal (i.e. non work/professional) VPN endpoint, and it's because the damn VPS provider blocks it 🤬
such is life when you're paying less than $2/month.
I'm not sure if it's possible to set up a private #SMTP relay on my more reputable VPS provider, I tried doing a simple TCP relay but that doesn't work due to TLS certificate checks. anybody got ideas?
