I'm suspicious of the panic around Biden because it smells a lot like the panic about trans people:
- questionable medical opinions being flung about from people without direct knowledge, based purely on anecdotes
- strong bandwagon/moral panic effect
- "Solutions" that will make things much worse
Another suspicious sign is that the powerful people and rich donors leading this call want to bypass Harris too, which would be a catastrophe and alienate key base voters.
