Something else I miss about old forums that I didn't even really think of until now. Sure, you could go on to one and be as specific as you wanted, but you could also just make a very broad topic titled, for example, "dreams," and just say "okay, let's talk about dreams," and people would share every and any thoughts on that topic, and that topic could be active for days or years! Reddit was/is much the same, but I never got into it because it was too broad and impersonal. 1
