In the last five years demand for #NHS #mentalhealth provision has gone up by 50%, driven at least in part by the strains & stresses of the continuing #costoflivingcrisis & line financial insecurity.
At the same time the #outsourced costs of private provision to make up shortfalls in NHS services is rising year on year (both absolutely & in costs per patient).
The crisis in mental health provision is a major element behind #longterm sickness, but do the Tories have an answer?
