I'm more and more thinking about things you can put into orbit and just have it sitting there ready to go.
I think I posted the exact time it takes to drop something from geostationary orbit some weeks ago.. I think it took a couple days to get to earth and hits at like 30k/sec or thereabouts? Damn I can't remember.
