Drawing and painting have served me immeasurably since before I could talk any sense. Then I started writing, getting intentionally creative in designing my life, cooking and living with art personified ( shawn (npub1clk…pup9) ) and I never looked back.

I drew this portrait 6 years ago and haven’t sat down with pencils for longer than 5 minutes since.

Fascinating how art can be such an outlet for the deepest parts of us and how fluidly the particular sorts of art we need can change with us.
