IIRC, in the UK, the Hep B vaccine is recommended to men who have sex with men, IV drug users, and sex workers or people who tend to shag members of those communities.
If you get tested for hepatitis, the results from that will indicate whether or not you've got any immunity. Ideally this shows whether you've been vaccinated. However, vaccinations are less effective in adults than in children, so it's possible to get the jabs and not get the immunity.
