I wonder if aliens or our distantt ancestors would look upon our acedemics, billionaires, celebrities, influencers and politicians and see great thinkers, titans of industry and commerce, creators and entertainers and great leaders.

Or would they see a parasitic class of charlatans who not only gorge themselves on the acclaim, wealth and attention of their host society but think they deserve such treatment and are somehow more honorable than the detested masses they have attached themselves to.
