Jeff Booth (npub1s05…eyhe) I would like your view: there is a view that humans are no longer under evolutionary pressure, yet many people "make the choice" not to have children for economic reasons. These people then do not contribute to the genetic diversity of the species.
My thesis is that, with industrialisation, money is the selective pressure, and humankind is being shaped by how we acquire, preserve and distribute value in our communities.
Your points 1 and 2 describe a new ecological competition among humans. (which has already been running for ~100 years).
