Anybody who says I'm like Patrick Bateman isn't. A true psychopath or sociopath just exists as they are. They don't go around saying they are one. He was on some kind of antipsychotic medication and was wondering if anything was ever real or if it was a delusion in his mind. It was a commentary on the conformity of yuppie culture and how everyone is the same and seemingly interchangeable. This is why when he asks about Paul Allan and is told he's alive he's in shock but in reality it's probably just another dude named Paul Allan or maybe he never really did kill all those people. 🤔
