I was just a bit annoyed by this BS propaganda that I keep seeing strictly against the EU. But you are right about Ukraine's situation too.

Oh, really?! Let's get people the benefit of the doubt regarding their knowledge of how wars work. They might not know that Russia got Ukraine's land in 2014 and in the first weeks of the full-scale invasion.
That being said, one can answer some simple questions.
1. Since then, does Russia control more or less of Ukraine? Answer: LESS
2. Since then, does Russia control more or less of Russia? LESS
3. Even if one considers that it's a stalemate, can anyone on this planet give me a single example from the history of armed conflicts where a stalemate benefited the invader and the defender didn't win? Answer: NO
But I'm too tired to debate crap like this online, and it's mostly useless.
