I'm really astonished by the persistence of patently untrue information being passed along on Mastodon.
1. Harris was never in the police force. Never. Harris was not a cop - ever. (Not that it should matter if she had been).
2. Harris graduated with a Juris Doctor in 1989, and became a public servant from her first job, serving as a prosecutor.
3. Harris fought AGAINST trying juveniles in adult court.
4. Harris vowed NEVER to seek the death penalty.
