We’ve all seen them off in the distance. How big are they, really? Here’s a photo from years ago when wind turbines first started to appear in Michigan. Also, my research, so far, says these wind turbines don’t require a motor to start them turning. They do however, have motors to turn the unit/blades in the proper direction for operation. Yes, I was trespassing.
