we're stuck in a bad feedback loop in which members of the public who cannot get well under their doctor's care are forced to do their own research. even if we do this research well, we aren't trusted by doctors because we aren't doctors. and when we don't do our research well, and are led astray by charlatans and influence peddlers with an economic agenda, we become unwitting soldiers in a global, invisible war for power & influence. covid has just thrown gas on this fire
