I have general consent from my friends irl to touch them, but that doesn't mean I can start groping them, the same way it doesn't mean I can use the idea that I have a baby's consent to care for them as a sign of consent for anything else, that would be an overeach of the privelege I have over them.
Sexual consent has societal differences, you can argue that it shouldn't, but it currently and for the foreseeable future does.
