NATO article 5 would not cover European troops deployed to Ukraine. Article 6, clarifies Article 5: it does not apply to NATO armed forces deployed in areas that are NOT in ". . . any other area in Europe in which occupation forces of any of the Parties were stationed on the date when the Treaty entered into force." Ukraine was part of the USSR when the treaty was signed. If the Euro-warpigs want to fight in Ukraine all we need to do is make popcorn.
