I live in Switzerland. This is completely false.
In Switzerland, you have to pay, depending on which canton you are living in :
- Between 3 and 5‰ of the value of what you are holding (considered value on the last day of the year)
- Between 10 and 15% on the gains, or even up to 30% if you become considered a "professional" trader, depending on how many transactions you had on exchanges per year.
