The question is: can I turn everything off for 10 hours straight as I synthesize the 10,000 and lay it down? It is a decent benchmark, particularly because people can't understand complicated (different) things end-to-end. It has probably always been that way, but I have to offer that the US Lincoln Douglas debates serve as a cultural example that perhaps we haven't always been so bad at that. I'm sure I'm answering my own question, right? Turn. It. Off. Focus. Don't monitor interaction.
