yah. but most wont. its not convenient or comfortable for most ppl to be multiple nyms. we all know this
no point pretending fren. its just how it is. ppl will cluster for fear or comfort seeking reasons and those clusters will be anchored by relays and security and safety concerns will lead to tyranical lil mini dictatorships.
This is not the worlds first social project. This is the process.
1. give services with choice until services are part of culture / daily life
2. Incite fears of outsiders or shortages in said service which is now damned near a right
3. demand that outsiders identify themselves before they can access your local in group services, but since you cant give everyone else in the world an ID then all the insiders get IDs
4. now you have a captive and beholden population that is held together by fear and low grade xenophobia
These are old tricks and they re being played clumsily in this case.
