(I mean there are multiple problems to solve here, one of which is the tying of the identity in the first place, but as a social constructivist I am empathic to the idea that we create "ourselves" when we do our highly valued work and I think that fully detaching our identities from our work is probably impossible and therefore how it works out and how it's impacting us is something we should take seriously...)
