For the first time in a few months, I opened up a secondary SimpleX Chat profile and saw a couple hundred messages from various group chats. I marked most as read immediately but decided to take a good amount of time to skim through the SimplifiedPrivacy.com Podcast (npub14sl…t5d6) group chat and enjoyed the discussions, particularly the several mentions of Arweave.
While I've heard of Arweave before, I never really bothered to look into it. However, I've spent the last hour or two going down the rabbithole and really like what I'm seeing, specifically being able to build static sites and have them up and running for at least a century (without the possibility of government interference!).
There's still a ton to learn, such as the nitty gritty of how to build the static sites and get them hosted by Arweave, but I'm already loving what I've seen thus far.
