"I think Muslims are delusional"

Allah one and only this discussion is so fucking stupid. The psychiatric definition of delusion doesn't make much sense tbh. They say it is fixed while delusions can be up and down. They say it is false while things thought to be delusions can be true. They say that popular things in a given culture can't be delusions while things like penis stealing look like delusion epidemics. But it is really delusion or misinformation? How do you distinguish between misinformation, valid and unshaken belief, dogma, biases like authority bias that makes you see what is not really there? These articles made me think it has a really low construct validity.
"We don't want to say religion is delusional so we gave an exception here" that's unscientific science doesn't have a say in extra-scientific things like belief in God. If you say so you are scientist and you need to read on philosophy of science. Un-scientific doesn't mean valueless art, philosophy and religion are just different rational areas of study. I dunno we have evidence its called wahy and theological arguments I think divine inspiration is really compelling. And we do reason about revelation and may discard it according to evidence. So it is really a fixed belief immune to evidence? While religion can be changed and reformed? Presupposing atheism in not science it is your religious belief like any other. Science doesn't investigate supernatural things only nature.
Like maybe instead of focusing on content focus on the cause? Something to do with biology while also interacting with information cuz people born in Christian countries will believe they are Jesus and Muslims will think that their husband is being steered by a jinn. It is both environmental and biological I think. I dunno I'm not a neurobiologist or psychiatrist!
