Good ideas don't need much advertisement, but they definitely deserve advocacy. If you know you have a good idea, reach out to smart people and tell them about it.

I get paid whether or not I talk about my work here... I just enjoy talking about it for anyone who would listen.

If you don't want people to hear about your work, work on something different.
