I didn't know until today that Catholicism was against IVF. That's absolutely ridiculous. You're going to argue that reproduction is a special gift from God and then bar people from engaging in it just because they need a little help to make it happen? If God exists then they understand how physics and genetics work, and any scientific discoveries we make lie within the framework that they set out. I completely reject the idea that genetic limitations were intentional, what a cruel teaching to have.
