*RA WCom: Child Kidnapping is only a Rumor*
Dear Community,
We have been told that many people have recently heard that there is a child kidnapping ring that is active in our area, which has created a lot of fear, especially in children and parents. With the discovery of the body of a 9-year old girl in Muthialpet yesterday, the fear has understandably increased.
We have been in contact with police and intelligence officers. They informed us that this story is being spread all over the district but they have assured us that the story of a child kidnapping ring is only a rumor and there is no connection to the girl found in Muthialpet. (Two men have been arrested in connection with that case.)
