PSA! What should you do if the cops show up at your door asking questions about something that happened?
1) Shut the fuck up. “I won’t be answering any questions. You can give me your business card and my lawyer will contact you.”
2) Document what happened
3) Contact lawyer
4) Tell your people. Knowledge is power. Don’t keep it a secret!
It’s easy to recite these things on socials, but harder when it happens to you. That’s normal. So practice and prepare in advance, and even if you first make a mistake on one of these steps, you can still shut the fuck up from here on out, document, contact a lawyer and inform your friends and crew about what happened.
