If you distribute on steam, you don't need to sign. I have done that. Indeed, it actually only asks for signing for something that has a filesystem quarantine flag, and steam either does not set that or is somehow exempt from it. I'm not really sure who's responsible for setting this flag, but I know for a fact it can be unset by a terminal command.",
