So two quick things...
1) Stupid me didn't select the 8-bit graphics mode in my Amiga Doom video ( I selected 16 bit 🤦) which watching it back is why Doom's framerate is not what it should be in that video.
And 2) Doom is a masterpiece of game design. I'd forgotten that. I won't again.
