It pisses me off when I see commentators only care about sickness in society insofar as it has a negative effect on GDP
Their message is, "Stop doing all the unhealthy stuff that makes you happy, but carry on doing the unhealthy stuff that makes corporations richer."
Your job is NOT to be happy, vital, vibrant, healthy beings, living your best lives. It is to be just healthy enough to get up every morning and turn up for work
Btw, they see achieving that as the sole purpose of the NHS, too 😡
