I rinse the salad and, say, broccoli at the same time, and let them rest before I use them 🥦🥗

When it's time to cook the , say, broccoli I take the pieces out and place them in the pan.
And while preparing the salad, I ALWAYS find one forgotten piece of, say, broccoli.

Same for the rest.
There is always one of something left, even when I think 'When I
*think* I'm done, I should check because there's always one more somewhere'.

No idea why this happens.
