Human remains ID help request. Do you recognize this belt buckle?
This from one of our volunteer search and rescue groups here. Remains were found near Mohawk Dunes, just south of I-8, possibly a migrant trying to cross the desert. The Yuma County Sheriff recovered the remains, but the SAR group requested social media posts to see if anyone anywhere might recognize this belt buckle.
It's a long shot, but boost for reach.
Note that this location is a little over 2-1/2 miles from the freeway. The person could see cars and trucks on the freeway from there.
