It's definitely not that serious. I went to the doctor yesterday. Yeah it sucks but I'm gonna be fine. I've been sicker than this before.
IIRC it was my 9th birthday where I had a fever of 104.3
My mom was understandably very concerned and was going to take me to the ER if it disagree go down within an hour of me taking some Tylenol. Luckily it did go down and I didn't need to go to the ER but I still remember that and it was awful. Probably the only time I've come remotely close to dying from illness.
No clue what it was but my cousin and a few friends at school also got it so it was something going around in the late 90s/early 00s
