Very nice.
It made me keenly aware of Japan's own issues though, and how much is hidden from the image they project. It's actually no different than how many non-Americans still think the USA is all freedom and hamburgers and Ronald Reagan, or how Paris is still the jewel of civilization to many Japanese. I dated a Girl's Bar waitress for a while, who owns her own club now. The things she'd tell me about the sex industry and how everything worked and how she recruits girls and clients probably effected my political positions more than Trump did.
If given the choice I'd live in Japan over USA, no contest, but I won't pretend it's perfect.
