The second, led by Rea Antoniou, empirically explores two contrasting models of #utilitarian moral reasoning: a "dual-process model" based on an emotion/cognition contrast, and a "two-dimensional model" (yes, I know) suggesting dissociable components within utilitarian judgment. We found support for elements of both models, and interpret these findings in terms of a modified synthesis of both models:
