I think posters who just repeat their toot in the alt text annoy me more than people who don't put on alt text. I tell myself they have just misunderstood its purpose but I struggle to remain understanding. So, for those at the back, alt text is to describe the picture to those with visual impairments. It can also add information for everyone.
