Today I am dreaming of blogging!
Did you know that I was part of appjs? It was built on the old CEF via raw JS context access and effectively a pre-cursor to Electron! I whitnessed the whole way from idea, to concept, to birth of Electron and was talking to or working with "competing" projects.
Or, what do you think it was like running my first website completely out of spite because a furry roleplaying/imageboard website admin started banning people and my hope was to "save" as many of them as possible in a separate chat? I've been there and done that with AJAXChat, Simple Machines Forum and later Yii 1.x!
I've got some stories to tell that range from funny, to purely chaotic.
Ever sat in an egyptian internet cafee, logged into your server through a web-terminal that ran on AJAX in a kiosk-mode browser and trying to fend of a DDoS *and* hacking attempt whilst signing up for that thing called "CloudFlare" that can apparently help? That was in 2010! xD
So expect to read some stuff at some point from me. Not about bitcoin, not about lightning - just things I experienced digital and in real life. ^^
