I had a sad day on Friday. We had to put our dog to sleep. She gave us unconditional love for 15 years. Our home feels different. It’s missing a soul. My wife said she could feel our dog’s soul leaving her body during the euthanasia process. All our kids were on WhatsApp video call so they could say goodbye. I’m sad my house is so quiet. No sound of her scratching on a door to let us know she’s got to go. Positive thoughts of a wonderful life with her. I’ll miss her.
